NCAP swimmers won 7 events on night 1 of the 2017 NASA Elite Showcase Classic in Clearwater, Florida. Brett Feyerick and Michael Mullen led the way with two wins each. Feyerick took home victories in the Boys 14-Year-Old 200 Yard Backstroke and 50 Yard Freestyle. Mullen touched first in the Boys 11-Year-Old 1000 Yard Freestyle and 50 Yard Freestyle. Feyerick’s time of 1:48.74 in the 200 Back was good enough for a new NCAP Team Record in the event. Carly Sebring set an NCAP Team Record in the Girls 11-12 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 30.60. Mullen broke the NASA Meet Record in the 50 Free with his time of 22.85.
Charlie Greenwood, Kate Hallmark and Chase Travis also won events. Greenwood took 1st in the Boys 10-Year-Old 100 Breast. Hallmark was victorious in the Girls 12-Year-Old 1000 Freestyle. Travis won the Girls 14-Year-Old 200 Backstroke.
