Johnson and Sun Break Records on Night 4 of NCSA Junior Nationals

Two NCAP women broke records in the 200 Meter Breaststroke on night 4 of the 2019 NCSA Summer Swimming Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Eleanor Sun broke the Girl’s 13-14 NCAP Team Record with a time of 2:38.07.  She finished 11th overall.  In the next heat, Georgia Johnson went 2:35.13 and broke the Women’s 17-18 NCAP Team Record en route to a 5th place finish.


NCAP closed out the night with a win in the Women’s 800 Meter Freestyle Relay.  Camille Spink, Erika Chen, Catherine Purnell and Jill Berger swam on the relay.


In addition to Johnson, three other NCAP swimmers competed individually in an A Final on night 4.  Purnell finished 8th in the Women’s 400 Meter Freestyle.  Carly Sebring took 8th in the Women’s 100 Meter Butterfly.  Will Tenpas placed 8th in the Men’s 200 Meter Breaststroke.  Maren Conze, Sophie Duncan, Sebring and Allison Kopac added a 3rd place finish in the Women’s 800 Meter Freestyle Relay.
