Gemmell’s Record Highlights NCAP’s Night 2 of Nationals

NCAP continued to swim well on night 2 of the 2019 Phillips 66 National Championships in Stanford, California.  Erin Gemmell led the way with a record-breaking swim in the 200 Meter Freestyle.   She went 1:59.85 to break the 13-14 Girl’s PVS Resident and NCAP Team Records in the event.  Both of these records were previously held by Katie Ledecky.  Gemmell finished 13th overall in the race at night.

Caroline Bentz turned in NCAP’s other top 24 finish of the night, when she took 19th in Women’s 200 Meter Backstroke.  Sean Conway and Katie Mack both competed in the 18&under final of the 200 Meter Backstroke.  Conway finished 3rd in Men’s 18&under race.  Mack took 8th in the Women’s 18&under race.
