NCAP Wins 4 Events on Night 3 of Sectionals

NCAP swimmers won 4 events on night 3 of the 2019 Speedo Sectional Championships in Christiansburg, Virginia.  Ella Myers started the night off with a win in the Women’s 1000 Yard Freestyle.  Later, Camille Spink touched first in the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle.  NCAP closed out the session by winning both the Women’s and Men’s 400 Freestyle Relays.  Kyrsten Davis, Spink, Sophia Landeryou and Makenzie Higgins swam on the women’s relay.  Jacob Lindner, Sebastian Borden, Ben Stankovich and Hayes Goetcheus competed on the men’s team.

Nick Maranto and Spink had multiple A Final swims on night 3.  Maranto finished 7th in the 200 Breast and 10th in the 400 IM.  Spink added a 5th place finish in the 200 Breast to her 50 Free victory.  Borden (9th- 50 Free), Dylan Daniae (2nd- 200 Breast), Jordan Durocher (3rd- 400 IM), Jakob Frick (3rd- 200 Breast), Goetcheus (8th- 50 Free), Michael Jiang (4th- 400 IM), Jillian Johnson (4th- 200 Fly), Madison Kim (6th- 50 Free), Christopher Kopac (9th- 400 IM), Lindner (6th- 50 Free), Daniel Nagard (6th- 200 Breast), Sheridan Phalen (2nd- 50 Free), Zachary Rowe (5th- 400 IM) and Olivia Santee (7th- 1000 Free) also placed in the top 10 on night 3.

NCAP placed two additional relays in the top 8 on the 400 Freestyle Relays.  Kim, Phalen, Sarah Seiling and Giulia Baroldi came in 7th in the women’s race.  Cole Greenberg, Jacob Conway, Clark Bayer and Kris Lawson finished 4th in the men’s relay.
