NCAP Wins 2 Events on Night 2 of Sectionals

NCAP swimmers won 2 events on the second night of the 2019 Speedo Sectional Championships in Christiansburg, Virginia.  The relay team of Collin McKenzie, Dylan Danaie, Jacob Lindner and Sebastian Borden started the night off with a victory in the Men’s 200 Yard Medley Relay.  In the next event, Camille Spink delivered an individual win in the Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle.

Spink and Ben Stankovich qualified both multiple A Finals on night 2.  Spink added a 9th place finish in the 100 Backstroke to her Freestyle victory.  Stankovich took 2nd in the 500 Freestyle and 7th in the 200 Freestyle.  Dylan Daniae (4th- 100 Breast), Joshua Davis (8th- 500 Free), Jordan Durocher (5th- 100 Back), Makenzie Higgins (6th- 200 Free), Michael Jiang (4th- 500 Free), Jacob Lindner (9th- 100 Fly), McKenzie (10th- 100 Back), Alexander Misiaszek (9th- 500 Free), Daniel Nagard (7th- 100 Breast), Zachary Rowe (8th- 100 Back) and Olivia Santee (8th- 500 Free) also swam in an A Final on night 2.

NCAP placed 3 additional relays in the top 10.  In the Women’s 200 Medley, Durocher, Spink, Jillian Johnson and Kyrsten Davis finished 6th, while Isabel Robey, Regan Hau, Ella Myers and Sheridan Phalen came in 8th.  Rowe, Nagard, Hayes Goetcheus and Stankovich added a 3rd place finish in the Men’s 200 Medley.
