NCAP Kicks-off Sectionals with Win on Night 1

NCAP kicked off the 2019 Speedo Sectional Championships in Christiansburg, Virginia with the distance session on night 1.  Michael Jiang led the way with a win in the Men’s 1000 Freestyle.  Two additional NCAP swimmers joined Jiang in the top 8 of the 1000.  Michael Mullen placed 6th, while Alexander Misiaszek finished 7th.

NCAP closed out the night by placing three relays in the top 8 of the 800 Freestyle Relay. For the women, Camille Spink, Makenzie Higgins, Madison Kim and Sophia Landeryou took 2nd, while Ella Myers, Madison Gupton, Jillian Johnson and Megan Mastropaolo finished 6th.  In the men’s race, Benjamin Stankovich, Jiang, Jacob Conway and Cole Greenberg came in 2nd.
