Erin Gemmell and Michael Mullen both broke records at the 2018 NCAP June LC Meet. Mullen broke records in multiple events. On the first night, he took down the 11-12 Boy’s PVS Resident, PVS Open and NCAP Team Records in the 400 Meter Individual Medley with a time of 5:00.32. Later, he closed out the meet by going 2:14.56 and breaking the 11-12 Boy’s PVS Resident, PVS Open and NCAP Team Records in the 200 Meter Butterfly. Gemmell broke the 13-14 Girl’s PVS Resident Record in the 50 Meter Freestyle with a time of 26.38. She also re-broke her own NCAP Team Record in the event.
NCAP won 28 events over the course of the weekend. Blake Conway, Jordan Evans and Philip Manoff led the way with three wins each. Conway touched first in the Boy’s 12&under 50 Free, 100 Free and 200 Free. Evans was victorious in the Boy’s 12&under 50 Fly, 100 Fly and 200 IM. Manoff won the Men’s Open 100 Free, 100 Fly and 200 Fly. Gemmell (Open 50 and 100 Free), Katie Mack (Open 100 and 200 Back) and Livia Venditti (12&under 200 Free and 100 Back) also won multiple events.
