Durocher and Gentry Finish 1st in Age Group at IM Xtreme Games


While competing against swimmers from throughout the eastern zone,  Jordan Durocher and Landon Gentry finished first overall in their age groups at the 2018 IM Xtreme Games.  Durocher scored the most points in the 13-year-old girl’s sextathlon.  Gentry won the 13-year-old boy’s sextathlon.  Carly Sebring finished directly behind Durocher in the 13-year-old girl’s competition.  Clara Hastings was similarly 2nd in the 9-year-old girl’s pentathlon.


Gentry won 5 events en route to his sextathlon victory.  He touched first in the 13-year-old boy’s 500 Free, 200 Back, 200 Fly, 200 IM and 400 IM.  Durocher also won multiple events, as she was victorious in the 13-year-old girl’s 200 Fly and 400 IM.  Jordan Evans (12-year-old boy’s 100 Breast), Hastings (9-year-old girl’s 200 IM), Lucas Knapp (10-year-old boy’s 200 IM), Brandon Lesser (10-year-old boy’s 100 Breast) and Sebring (13-year-old girl’s 200 IM) also won events.
