Mack Adds 2nd Win on Final Night of Sectionals

NCAP closed out the 2017 Super Sectionals with more great racing on the final night.  Katie Mack led the way with a victory in the Women’s 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:00.27.  It was Mack’s 2nd win of the weekend, as she also touched first in the 50 Free on Saturday.

Regan Holstein had a pair of 9th place finishes in the Women’s 1000 Yard Freestyle and 200 Yard Backstroke.  She was the only NCAP swimmer to have multiple top 10 finishes on night 4.  Shannon Campbell (7th) joined Holstein in the top 10 in the 1000.  NCAP similarly placed 2 swimmers in the top 10 of the Men’s 100 Yard Freestyle, where Peter Makin was 4th and Tyler Ellis finished 10th.  Alicia Campbell (8th- 100 Free), Luke Devore (6th- 200 IM) and Lawrence Remond (6th- 200 Back) also finished in the top 10.

NCAP placed 5 relays in the top 10 on night 4.  The opened the session by taking 4th in both the Women’s and Men’s 200 Free Relays.  Campbell, Elizabeth Kuhlkin, Kyrsten Davis and Emma Klein competed for the women, while Makin, Andrew Revers, Gabriel Laracuente and Ryan Hutcherson swam for the men.  NCAP also took 5th (Ellis, Jacob Lindner, Philip Saunders, Austin Gentry) in the Men’s 200 Free Relay.  Later, NCAP finished the meet by touching 2nd (Dana Korotoviskikh, Olivia Masterson, Emily Landeryou, Campbell) in the Women’s 400 Medley Relay and 6th (Darius Truong, John Sita, Leo Goldblatt, Revers) in the Men’s 400 Medley Relay.
