Greenberg Breaks Record, NCAP Wins 4 Events on Night One of Junior Olympics

NCAP won all 4 events on night one of the 2017 PVS Junior Olympics.  In the girl’s pool, Erika Chen touched first in the 14&under 1650 freestyle and Kate Hallmark was victorious in 12&under 500 freestyle.  On the boy’s side, Hayes Goetcheus won the 14&under 1650 free and Cole Greenberg took home a victory in the 12&under 500 freestyle.

Greenberg’s time of 4:50.61 was good enough for a new PVS Resident Record in the 11-12 Boy’s 500 Freestyle.  Greenberg also lowered his own PVS Open Record in the event.

NCAP also took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the boy’s 500, as Matthew Hartshorn and Landon Gentry finished directly behind Greenberg. Hannah Arndt finished 3rd in the 1650 for NCAP’s other top 3 finish on the night
