6 Swimmers Win Pentathlon Championships at Frozen Penguin Pentathlon

Lauren Connelly, Kris Lawson, Norah Rothman, Nate Sullivan, Livia Venditti and Dan Wei Zuo each won overall 1st place for their respective age groups at the 2017 Frozen Penguin Pentathlon.  Venditti, the 9-10 girl pentathlon champion, won the Free, Back, Breast, Fly and IM.  She was the only swimmer at the meet to sweep her events.  Lawson and Zuo were not far behind with 4 wins each.  Lawson was victorious in the Free, Back, Fly and IM en route to the 11-12 boy’s championship.  Zuo, the 12&under boy champion, touched first in Free, Breast, Fly and IM.  Sullivan was the 9-10 boy champion and took home victories in the Free, Back and Breast.  Connelly used her 1st place finish in the 100 Fly to propel her to victory in the 12&under girls pentathlon.  Rothman was the 11-12 girl’s pentathlon champion.

Finn Bacon and Teagan Sullivan joined Lawson, Nate Sullivan, Venditti and Zuo in winning multiple events. Libby Brown, Jordan Kelly and Alexander Rudin each won an event as well.
